THE NEWTON'S

I few weeks ago I drove over to Tulsa with the kids to meet up with a friend who was in Tulsa visiting her sister. I have to say that I like our Oklahoma City Zoo better than the Tulsa Zoo, but we did have a fun time. Here are some pictures.

Yesterday was Alyssa's birthday. We tried a new thing for her cake. I have seen recipe's for marshmallow fondant for the past year or so and always thought it would be fun to try- so I made it yesterday. The kids had a great time working with it and helping me decorate the cake. Here are some pictures. :) Here is Alyssa with the cake and two of her presents:
